To prepare for the next cycle, contact\u00a0Hannah Dannenfelser<\/a>, Manager, Grants and Resources, or schedule a\u00a0Community Outreach Planning Session<\/a>\u00a0for tailored support and ideas to help you make the most of future grant opportunities.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Fair Housing grants support state and local REALTOR\u00ae association activities that promote partnerships with community organizations to create or improve systems, programs, and policies that advance fair housing and homeownership opportunities. Projects should strengthen REALTORS\u00ae\u2019 commitment to offering equal professional service to all and help REALTORS\u00ae understand fair housing history and why <\/span>its<\/span> relevant today. Applications will be accepted from December 4<\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/span>, 2024, through October 15<\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/span>, 2025, or until commitment levels reach 100%. Reimbursement requests must be <\/span>submitted<\/span> by December 19<\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/span>, 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Note: Fair Housing grants differ from\u00a0Diversity and Inclusion Grants<\/a>, which provide funding to REALTOR\u00ae associations to enhance the inclusion of diversity in their leadership and collaborate with local chapters of national multicultural real estate organizations.<\/p>\n

Level 1 Grants<\/h3>\n

<\/i> Level 1 Fair Housing Grant Application<\/strong><\/p>\n

Level 1 Fair Housing grants support efforts to educate REALTORS\u00ae about fair housing topics. Activities may include a class or forum, a speaker who can address a fair housing issue, or a facilitated “book club” event.<\/p>\n

Starting in 2025, the Fair Housing grant can be used to support eligible expenses to conduct NAR\u2019s\u202fAt Home With Diversity<\/em>\u202fclass. This change ensures support option alignment with NAR\u2019s new Fair Housing\/Anti-Bias Training requirements<\/a> for all members. If you previously used a Diversity & Inclusion grant to support this class, you may now apply for a Fair Housing grant to support the course. Additionally, the Fair Housing Grant will continue to support the Bias Override class.<\/p>\n

Note: If in 2023 or 2024 you received a Fair Housing level 1 grant for a CE class (e.g. Bias Override) and a Diversity & Inclusion grant for At Home With Diversity, you can still use a Diversity & Inclusion grant for At Home With Diversity in 2025 as a one-time exception.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
