The Committee should also initiate the recommendations of the FPC Workgroup which will enhance the RPMIC\u2019s current responsibilities related to the FPC Program. These changes include direct involvement in the development and planning for FPC training, programming, mentoring and education. This also includes evaluating the FPC selection process<strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Serve as THE team coordinator for their state FPCs.<\/li>\n<li>Assist FPCs with all responsibilities including the development of teams and expanding political engagement. File reports to the Committee on a biannual basis as determined by the Chair.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with your State Association staff to provide state FPCs with updates and information regarding the FPC program and activities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide updates and reports to State Leadership and Association members on FPC and grassroots activities.<\/li>\n<li>Set aside personal political beliefs to advocate on behalf of all REALTORS\u00ae and the REALTOR\u00ae Party.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly visit The Hub at <a href=\"https:\/\/thehub.realtor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>thehub.realtor<\/u><\/strong><\/a> for committee updates and other important information regarding duties and upcoming meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Attend annual FPC Advisory Committee training and each meeting during the REALTOR Legislative Meetings and Annual Convention. (Two consecutive unexcused absences will result in replacement, per committee structure rules.)<\/li>\n<li>Utilize the FPC Advisory Committee Toolkit and work throughout the calendar year.<\/li>\n<li>For your state, ensure each FPC\u2019s success in completing all of their required duties. Contact FPCs at least once per quarter to obtain feedback and provide assistance as needed. Meet with FPCs at least twice per year to review job responsibilities. Fill in for an FPC as needed. Collaborate with state association leadership and staff to assist in the appointment of FPCs, to ensure the right people are involved.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with leadership of REALTOR\u00ae Party Committees to discuss goals and formulate a plan to ensure the success of the REALTOR\u00ae Party programs, tools and services that fall under their purview.<\/li>\n<li>Strive to invest in RPAC before April of each year, to have 100% participation by the Midyear Meeting. Be familiar with Major Investor levels to promote them to REALTOR\u00ae members as needed. (Consideration will be given to those states and territories with less than 3 Members of Congress regarding their representation on the committee.)<\/li>\n<li>Committee membership will include one AE representative and one GAD representative.<\/li>\n<li>The appointment process should take into consideration FPCs who also belong to any of the following \u2013 YPN, multi-cultural organizations, commercial and non-commercial affiliates.<\/li>\n<li>The PAG recommends that the 2023 RPMIC appointments be for one year in order to expedite the implementation of this new structure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Best Practices<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Coordinate with State Association staff to ensure FPC participation in grassroots initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor around new FPC activities and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Develop processes for outreach to other NAR affiliates, organizations and allied groups.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in FPC team development.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantee accomplishment of FPC responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that FPCs are utilizing all necessary NAR resources.<\/li>\n<li>Increase FPC education on NAR political and policy issues.<\/li>\n<li>Attend relevant training to include GAD training, candidate training and FPC roundtables.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]The REALTOR\u00ae Party Member Involvement Committee encourages grassroots member participation by creating and implementing strategies that support the REALTOR\u00ae Party and its three main components \u2014 vote, act, and invest \u2014 which solidifies a culture of REALTOR\u00ae engagement and advocacy throughout the REALTOR\u00ae Association.<\/p>\n<h2>REALTOR\u00ae Advocacy<\/h2>\n<p>RPMIC members will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set and track annual NAR member response goals for Calls for Action;<\/li>\n<li>Encourage state and local associations to actively support NAR Calls for Action;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that <a href=\"https:\/\/realtorparty.realtor\/member-consumer\/fpc\">Federal Political Coordinators (FPCs)<\/a> execute their responsibilities, and provide for their training;<\/li>\n<li>Promote and ensure a robust REALTOR\u00ae Party website for use by NAR, state and local associations;<\/li>\n<li>Advance the use of social media and other technologies to engage REALTORS\u00ae in political process;<\/li>\n<li>Offer members opportunities for political engagement in REALTOR\u00ae activities (i.e., member and public voter registration\/turn out the member vote, issue campaigns, phone banks); and<\/li>\n<li>Promote, advocate, and provide input for communicating real property messages to consumers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Promotion and Use of REALTOR\u00ae Party Resources<\/h2>\n<p>RPMIC members will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote the array of REALTOR\u00ae PARTY tools available to state and local associations;<\/li>\n<li>Track the implementation and use of REALTOR\u00ae Party tools, evaluate, and report on the growth in usage and creative applications of the tools by state and local associations;<\/li>\n<li>Track REALTOR\u00ae Party activities in the states and recognize member involvement and results;<\/li>\n<li>Promote understanding and use of <a href=\"https:\/\/realtorparty.realtor\/tools-resources\/realtor-party-tracker\">REALTOR\u00ae Party Tracker<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Promote REALTOR\u00ae Party consulting services, campaign management, advertising services, and all other services available to states and local associations;
