\"Placemaking<\/a>

Placemaking Toolkit: A Guide for REALTOR\u00ae Association Creation of Enduring Community Assets<\/p><\/div>\n

Placemaking Grants fund state and local REALTOR\u00ae association-led projects that create new, outdoor public <\/span><\/span>gathering <\/span><\/span><\/span>spaces and destinations in a community on unused or underused sites. The goal of the program is to enable REALTORS\u00ae to strengthen ties with their community, to develop relationships with public officials, and to spur economic growth and development through the creation of new public gathering places. Support for <\/span><\/span>improvements to existing places (fo<\/span><\/span><\/span>r example: <\/span><\/span><\/span>benches, playground equipment, and signs within existing public spaces<\/span><\/span>)<\/span><\/span><\/span> are<\/span><\/span><\/span> permitted<\/span>. Applications open December 4th<\/span> 2024<\/span> through October 15, 2025, or until commitment levels reach 100%.<\/span><\/span> Reimbursement request must be <\/span>submitted<\/span> by December 1<\/span><\/span><\/span>9<\/span><\/span><\/span>, 202<\/span><\/span><\/span>5<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span> In 2025, the 10% financial commitment requirement is waived for associations under\u202f<\/span><\/span>Right Tools, Right Now.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
